In reply to R. Rocca. I think his message would have been just fine if they had a franchise QB. Look at what Belichick did after Brady left. Then look at what Tomlin accomplished after Ben left. Pats plummeted. Steelers continued their winning ways, just to a lesser degree compared to when Ben was in his prime. The players still respected him and repeated his message. To me that shows it wasn't stale. I think Tomlin just got burned out. 20 years in that job takes a toll.
