We ultimately disagree, but I do want to apologize for saying you were from Philadelphia. That was beneath the HoopsRumors standards of decorum and a low blow.
Please realize I completely understand what you’re saying, and that I think it’s completely wrong and quite emotionally charged. If they win next seasons championship in the same manner, I’ll happily admit my conclusions here are wrong and that actually the Knicks are quite great at playing like garbage for 2-3 quarters and then turning it on to barely win.
But again, in my opinion, the way the Knicks won was historically lucky and extremely unlikely to ever happen again. This is a statistical fluke, not a proven method to win a championship. It’s less “Grit and Grind” and more “Hoist and Pray” and also “constantly whine to the refs”
