Missouri is trying to make it out of non-conference play unscathed while they await the return of star running back Ahmad Hardy. That could be a tough task for an early-season rivalry game. The Border War is by far the best option on Friday, and will have the feel of a late November clash between bitter rivals.

Arizona State at (#10)Texas A&M
Noon, ABC
The Aggies looked to be one of the nation’s best teams before losing its final two games of 2025. Will they be able to return to the playoffs with a much more difficult schedule this year? Arizona State has shown a penchant for pulling off upsets under Kenny Dillingham, and they should have the offensive firepower to keep things closer than expected.
Prediction: Arizona State-37, Texas A&M-33
Arizona at (#15)BYU
3:30 p.m., FOX
Arizona’s Noah Fifita has become somewhat lost in the shuffle of an outstanding crop of college quarterbacks. He’s a big play waiting to happen, and is ready for what should be his best season in his fourth year as a starter. BYU returns plenty of talent on both sides of the ball, but will have their hands full with Fifita and co. This might end up being the most entertaining game on a loaded week two schedule.
Prediction: BYU-30, Arizona-28
Memphis at Boise State
6 p.m., USA
It’s only week two, but a playoff spot may be on the line. Both of these teams have an impressive start to the season. Memphis took down UNLV in week 0, while Boise State gave #2 Oregon all they could handle on the road last week. This will be an all-out, high-stakes battle between two well-coached team looking for a seat at the table in December. And yes, this game is actually on USA.
Prediction: Memphis-28, Boise State-24

HERE. WE. GO. Both teams were breaking in new quarterbacks when they met last season in what turned out to be a defensive slugfest. Now, Julian Sayin and Arch Manning have blossomed into two of the biggest names in college football. If that’s not enough, both teams have a receiver who is a likely top 10 pick this spring. We didn’t learn anything meaningful from either team in week one as they blew out non-conference opponents, so we are set to learn who is ready to contend for all the marbles in 2026.
Prediction: Ohio State-27, Texas-23
