A small plane made an emergency landing near Miami Executive Airport Thursday evening.
The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office responded at around 5:49 p.m. to the area of Southwest 152nd Street and 172nd Avenue, officials said.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue officials said the plane landed safely on a dirt road, and the pilot was safe. There were no injuries.
Aerial footage from Chopper 6 showed the red plane sitting on the dirt road.
Officials with the Miami-Dade Aviation Department were still gathering details.
