A portion of Dolphin Mall was evacuated on Friday due to a smell of gas, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue officials said.
Fire rescue officials said crews responded to a hazardous situation with reports of a smell of gas at the mall on Northwest 12th Street.
A section of the mall was evacuated as a precaution.
The gas company was notified and crews were on scene mitigating the gas, officials said.
