After 20 years in Ginza, Japanese fashion label 45R this month opened a new four-storey flagship in the Tokyo district. The Seiko Ginza 5-chome Building now houses the label’s denim and natural indigo collections among old brick, stone and warm wood.
At street level, reclaimed details shape the entrance. A teak facade and Takine stone frame an automatic door fashioned from chestnut. Just inside, a small garden separates the street from the shop, with salvaged stepping stones underfoot.
