Police in Van Nuys are investigating after a woman was shot by her roommate overnight, the Los Angeles Police Department said.
The shooting was reported at about 12:15 a.m. on the 8150 block of Langdon Avenue, LAPD said. There, for reasons still under investigation, the gunman opened fire on their roommate and ran off.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital and is said to be in good condition.
Law enforcement is continuing its search for the gunman. A detailed description of that individual was not available. A possible motive has not been determined.
