Young ladies looking to join the 2027 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Rose Court can now submit applications through the organization’s website, it was announced Monday.
Selected each year, members of the Rose Court serve as ambassadors for the Tournament of Roses, the Pasadena community and the greater Los Angeles area.
To qualify, applicants must meet several requirements, including being at least 17 years old by Dec. 1, 2026, but no older than 21 before Jan. 5, 2027. Eligible ladies must be high school seniors or full-time college students with at least a 2.0 GPA who live and attend school in the Pasadena area, including Eagle Rock, Highland Park, San Gabriel and Alhambra.
“We’re looking for applicants who bring diverse strengths and perspectives — whether they’re natural public speakers, youth leaders, academic stars, or community and school leaders,” the Pasadena Tournament of Roses said in a statement.
Each Rose Court member will receive a $7,500 educational scholarship while participating in community activities.
The first round of interviews will be held Sept. 5 and Sept. 8 at Tournament House, 391 S. Orange Grove Blvd. in Pasadena.
The 2027 Rose Court will be announced Sept. 28, with the 108th Rose Queen to be announced and crowned Oct. 27.
The 2027 Rose Court will ride down Colorado Boulevard during the 138th Rose Parade and attend the College Football Playoff quarterfinal at the 113th Rose Bowl Game, both scheduled for Jan. 1, 2027.
