A water main break has shut down a busy stretch of a main road in Torrance, the city announced on Sunday.
The break was reported sometime before 12:30 p.m. just a few blocks from the Del Amo Fashion Center. As a result, all northbound lanes of Crenshaw Boulevard from Carson Street to Plaza del Amo have been shut down, according to the city.
It’s unclear what caused the water main break. The city has not announced approximately when the road will reopen.
Drivers are urged to avoid the area.
