A man was shot and killed early Sunday in North Philadelphia, police said.
According to police, officers responded around 4:40 a.m. on Sunday, August 2, to the 2900 block of West Clementine Street, about a block away from Allegheny Avenue.
When they arrived, police said they found a 42-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his chest, left leg, right arm, and right hip. He was taken to a nearby hospital and pronounced dead.
At least seven spent shell casings were found near the scene.
Police said no arrests have been made, and no motive has been found.

Police said that earlier in the night there was another shooting in North Philadelphia.
According to police, officers responded to the 3300 block of North Smedley Street around 1:26 a.m. Sunday for a report of a shooting.
When officers arrived, police said they found a woman on the street suffering from a single gunshot wound to her upper left shoulder. Officers transported her to a nearby hospital, where she is listed in stable condition.
Police said preliminary investigation revealed that the shooting stemmed from an argument involving an individual who was acting erratically on the street.
The victim told investigators the individual entered a silver sedan, retrieved a black firearm and fired one shot, striking her in the shoulder. She also told police the individual may live on the block.
No arrests have been announced, and police said the investigation remains active.
