Dallas police highlight public safety successes during FIFA World Cup

The Dallas Police Department is holding a press conference to provide an overview of the public safety operations and enforcement efforts conducted during the 2026 FIFA World Cup in June and July.

The press conference will take place at 1 p.m. in the second-floor media conference room at the Jack Evans Police Headquarters, located at 1400 Botham Jean Boulevard.

According to DPD, the briefing will highlight crime reduction strategies, enhanced patrol visibility, targeted enforcement initiatives, and community engagement efforts implemented during the tournament.

The department said Chief Daniel Comeaux will be joined by federal partners, who will also address the World Cup safety operations.
