Preliminary 2.6 magnitude earthquake strikes near Cloverdale

A preliminary 2.6 magnitude earthquake struck near Cloverdale in Sonoma County, according to the United States Geological Survey.

The epicenter was recorded just after 2:17 p.m. at 4.3 miles east-southeast of Cloverdale, and 13 miles north-northwest of Healdsburg.

The quake had a depth of 4 km, according to the USGS.
