Marquand Library, founded in the 1908, is one of the finest art libraries in North America. Marquand re-opened within the new Art Museum complex after an almost five-year hiatus in January 2026.
Tours of the five-floor non-circulating library will be led by Rebecca Friedman, Art Librarian for Research Services, who has worked at Marquand since 2007. Be our guest where you'll learn more about the building, its features and collections.
At this time, tours of Marquand Library are limited to those with a Princeton University ID card but arrangements can be made for others by request.
The group will meet in the lobby outside Marquand Library, which can be accessed via the walkway from McCosh Walk directly across from Murray-Dodge Hall and parallel to the main Museum entrance down the stairs (to the LEFT).
