Ramsey was not that good at any position is able to play this year or last. Definitely not pro bowl caliber. How many times was he out of position and flat out beat last year????
Your ranking and evaluating him just as everyone ranks and make excuses for Rodgers. Old and slow is what Ramsey is and you can now add Liability in the back end no matter what position he plays.
Would have liked to seem them drop Ramsey in the spring, they didn’t see it that way. Now with what young talent they have it would foolish to continue down the road with Ramsey. Too old too slow.
I am sure there is a team desperate enough to take him on in a position of need. The contract money is a formality at this point and the Steelers would have to eat some of that. In the end would be a wise and worth it move. Ramsey is done in Pittsburgh and you can stick a fork in him.
They now have 9 DBs that are better come game day then any experience he could provide with his diminished abilities.
