What happens if JPJr refuses to play in Game 1? Does he still get paid? Or do the Steelers move him to reserve/ PUP? If he really has a back problem and cant play, isn't that a bad time to ask for a huge extension? How and when did he injure his back? It would seem to me he would have a better chance out there practicing showing the Steelers he will be ready.
