It's quite hilarious the people that have made their minds up on Johnson; like lemmings running full tilt toward the cliff. While finding fault after fault with him and where he does nothing right. While the little Navy kid gets excuse after excuse EVERY DAY by the staff writers and probably 75% of the commenters.
Now, nothing against Lew Nichols, but he had one DB to beat for a TD the game before and was taken down by a nice open field tackle. Did we hear ONE comment on here about that??? Nope. But Johnson? All you hear. That and "he's slow."
How'd little Navy do on his draw? That was the definition of "slow." But how many times are the writers here going to say about the little kid: "he ran hard?" Or: "I wish he get some passes thrown his way, he'd really show what he could do then." The best: "if only he didn't get hurt early in camp." How's little Navy look in pass pro/blitz pickups? Does it look like he's gonna get hurt out there?
