There are a variety ways this doesn’t end well for Porter. I suspect McCarthy is loath to set a precedent with a new team where he lets his young talent jerk him around, and likely doesn’t appreciate a holdout when he’s trying to establish a new culture and get everyone aboard a moving train in terms of schemes and the playbook that he is trying to implement. Porter might find himself shipped off to the likes of the Jets or Panthers if he’s not careful.
