One person was shot Sunday in an attempted robbery near the Santa Monica Pier.
Police responded at about 8 p.m. after the victim was approached by a group of about two to three people. One of the individuals pulled out a firearm and shot the victim once in the leg.
The victim’s injuries were not life-threatening, authorities said.
No arrests were reported Monday morning.
On Saturday, a man with a knife was fatally shot in a confrontation with police in Palisades Park.
