The Seattle Seahawks will be without nose tackle Brandon Pili in the second half of their showdown with NFC West rival Arizona Cardinals.
Pili was taken out of the game in the first quarter and evaluated for a concussion. The 6-foot-3, 333-pound nose tackle has been with the Seahawks since 2025, backing up star defensive lineman Byron Murphy II.
Without Pili, Seattle’s depth at the key run-stopping position is far lighter, as they’re already without Mike Morris. The Seahawks will need second-year defensive lineman Rylie Mills to step up if they want to continue to contain Cardinals’ first-round pick Jeremiyah Love, who had just 26 yards at the halftime break. Interior defensive lineman Mike Morris was a healthy scratch, so Seattle will be short on defensive line depth.
Seattle entered halftime tied with the Cardinals at 7-7 in a defensive struggle. A second touchdown for Jaxon Smith-Njigba gave Seattle a 14-7 lead right out of halftime.
