One person is dead after a motorcycle crash in Cheshire on Saturday night.
At around 10:17 p.m. the Cheshire police department responded to the area of Mountain Road and Sorghum Mill Drive for a motorcycle crash.
Upon arrival, officers had reported that the operator succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced dead on the scene.
The area was closed as crews investigated the accident.
According to police, the motorcycle was traveling south on Mountain Road when they lost control and left the roadway.
The operator was ejected from the motorcycle and struck a utility pole.
The Cheshire police department is continuing to investigate the crash.
