Four cats were rescued and one dog was found deceased after a house fire in Hebron on Saturday night.
Just after 10 p.m. on Saturday, the Hebron fire department responded to a structure fire on Walnut Road.
Firefighters worked to control the fire at the single-family home.
No one was home at the time of the fire; however, four cats were removed from the home, and one dog was found deceased.
Eversource was also requested to the scene to control the electricity within the home.
The fire was placed under control at 11:17 p.m.
The Hebron Fire Department is continuing to investigate the cause of the fire.
