A suspect in a New Hampshire arson investigation was believed to be in the Tyngsborough, Massachusetts, area, police said Monday, urging the public to call 911 if they see him.
Derrick Couture, 39, is believed to have traveled to Tyngsborough after the incident in Nashua that prompted the search, according to Tyngsborough police.
Couture could be a danger to himself or other people, and anyone who sees him was urged not to approach him. Police asked anyone with information about him, including where he is, to call 911.
Couture didn’t turn up in the search in Tyngsborough, police said Monday night, noting that a SWAT team, police dogs and other law enforcement taking part in the search were leaving.
But the search for Couture continued.
Details about the arson investigation weren’t immediately available.
