Police in Dover, New Hampshire, said two parents were arrested Monday after four young children were found “living in conditions that raised significant health and sanitation concerns.”
Authorities said 28-year-old Taylor Brock and 29-year-old Antonio Russell, both of Dover, were each charged with four misdemeanor counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
Dover police began investigating after staff at the Dover Housing Authority reported concerns about the children’s living conditions.
A 9-year-old, a 3-year-old and two 23-month-old twins were removed by officers and the New Hampshire Division for Children, Youth and Families. They are staying with other family members.
Police arrested Russell and Brock, described as the children’s parents, on a warrant. Both were released on personal recognizance and are due back in the Dover division of the 7th Circuit Court on Oct. 22.
